Detergents for use in basic cleaning, liquid concentrate, neodisher® IR
Basic washing by immersion and ultrasonic cleaning of stainless steel and surgical instruments. The basic wash many only be used for instruments made of hardened chrome steel or chrome-nickel steel.

  • Viscosity: <50 mPas (concentrate, 20 °C)
  • Specific gravity: 1,4 g/cm³ (20 °C)
  • Titration factor: 0,19
  • Sensitive to frost below –15 °C

Instruments made of unhardened chrome steel, unalloyed steel, light alloy and other materials which are not acid-resistant may not be treated with it. This also applies to chromium plated or nickel plated instruments. Instruments with carbide inlays are suitable for basic wash, provided that the restrictions indicated below in the instructions for the use of the manufacturer of the instruments are taken into account.

It is a special product for the basic cleaning to remove tarnishing, loose rust and rust stains. Stubborn inorganic residues on the instruments to be cleaned, which can result from various faults in preparation, are automatically removed with this neodisher® IR. The basic cleaning with it is not suitable for the first cleaning of the brand new instruments. Only suitable for surgical instruments made of hardened chrome steel or chrome nickel steel.

The containers used for the basic wash and effluent pipes, through which the neodisher® IR solutions are discharged, must be acid-resistant material. If necessary, the working solution of the neodisher® IR can be neutralized before discharge with an alkaline cleaning agent (without active chlorine).

Contains <5% non-ionic surfactants, 30% phosphonates according to regulation (EC) No 648/2004 on detergents.
